Samir spoke to Udinese TV after the 3-3 stalemate in Genoa.
“I must thank my team-mates who are really helping me out. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to do what I’m doing. The coach and the staff give me confidence and I’m working hard to reach a higher level.
“The team is doing well and we showed today that we’re capable of picking up important points at a tough ground.
“We found it difficult last week, but our mentality has to be that we always want to improve our technical and mental level because that’s how we can achieve so much this year.”
“I think I’ve taken a step forward mentally. I always try to give my all and surpass myself. I learn something in every game and I’m pleased with my performances although it wasn’t enough today.
“We have a long season ahead of us and we need to keep our level high in every game.”
